Donate Stocks, Bonds, or Mutual Funds

To make a gift of stock, bonds or mutual funds to support CFI’s important work, please follow the following instructions listed below. If you have any questions, please contact Lloyd Athearn or Megan Poole at (303) 278-7650.

Step 1: Initiate Transfer

Contact your broker to initiate the stock transfer. Your broker can arrange to have the securities delivered electronically to Colorado Fourteeners Initiative through Charles Schwab & Co., Inc.:

  • Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. DTC Number: 0164
  • CFI’s Account Number: 2797-7778

Step 2: Notify Colorado Fourteeners Initiative

Let CFI know about your stock gift so that we can properly record and acknowledge your gift. Please send a letter or email with the following information:

  • Donor’s full name and complete address
  • The name and number of securities transferred
  • The date of the transfer
  • If the gift is to support any specific CFI program
